Famous pieces by Kalman, Strauss and Lehar were performed by the stars of Budapest Operetta on stage of St.Petersburg Theatre of Musical Comedy (October, 18th), Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy in Ekaterinburg (October, 20th), State Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.I.Glinka in Chelyabinsk (October, 22nd).
In the programme of the concerts there were vocal parts from the popular operettas Countess Maritza, Merry Widow, Miss Springtime, Circus Princess and, of course, The Bat.
Operetta lovers got the chance to see such legends of the Budapest Operetta as Marika Osvald, as well as to meet young but already successful singers of this prominent theatre. In St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg local operetta stars also participated in the concerts.
